REFLECTION – NEW COLLECTION
The new fashion season 09 for the operations of the Ilirija Subrina studio begins with the new REFLECTION fashion collection. The name of the collection itself is a reflection of retro-fashion from the late sixties to the first half of the seventies. The female and male REFLECTION lines gently reflect the fashion of times past with a touch of the future, including new hair cutting and dyeing techniques. Cuts are vertically
blunt, they provide a soft appearance which gives us a new dimension of the hairstyle line. Hair lengths should reach down to the shoulders, the ideal length being in line with the chin. Rear sections are cut gently upwards, and the form contours are perfectly laid out which gives a serious appearance. In order to enrich the lines and make them even more interesting, we make an asymmetrical cut, leave a lock of hair or two longer and disconnected from the primary hairstyle line. These parts
of hair are accentuated with a dye in contrast with the basic dye. With fashion dyeing, we enrich fashion hair cutting. The rule »well cut hair require good and high-quality colour« still applies. For the new fashion season from the REFLECTION collection, we chose from extremely light blonde to golden brown, orange and brown red and intensively orange and red colour. Multi-dimensional colours are leaving the fashion scene and colour uniformity is on its way back as the fashion winner. With
uniform hair dyeing, we achieve greater volume of fashionable hairstyles. For men, we recommend longer hair, cut in the shape of a “helmet”, but with slightly thinned hair ends. These fashionably cut lines remind us of the era when the Beatles were drawing the fashion guidelines and the whole world imitated their hairstyles as well as their clothes. The REFLECTION lines for men also undergo fashionable dyeing into light and dark shades.
We mustn’t forget, however, that fashionably cut and dyed hairstyles must rest on well nourished hair – this is how the real REFLECTION is achieved.

It is retro with a touch of second millennium fashion trends where hair length is a question of taste, but where principles of good hair design still apply. Hair can be perfected with color which enables us to design various dimensions of hairstyles with the feeling of the present day.
Hair lengths vary greatly, from short to long, feather-light hair; however, we should not forget that the pony or the fru-fru haircut, cut deeply into the temples to broaden the top section of the head, reclaimed the hairstyle throne. In pony haircuts, hair is cut to fall onto the frontal section in fringes.
Hair coloring remains multi-layered which gives us different color dimensions when combing the hair. Blonde Hollywood colors are still predominant, permanently desired by women as well as by men. The blonde color could also be named the timeless queen of color. Also fashionable are the red color enriched with bright red flocks, and of course brown with an emphasis on golden reflex shades.
Male fashion imitates the style of latino lovers. The business world demands short, hardy-style hair cuts, while young spirits fancy dandy man hairstyles.
Ladies who want to stand out and project a glamorous appearance in evening events should wear dresses in the style directed by the Hollywood and European film actresses in the 1980s, such as Catherine Denevue.
Hair is combed into rather high haircuts or into wavy hair, dropping over the shoulders. The haircutting fashion demands a good deal of coloring and care. Modern cosmetics are the tools that can be used to achieve glamorousness.
